A friend of mine bought a laptop with Windows Vista. He wanted to install XP, but during the instalation, the XP copy doesn't recognize the laptop SATA disc. So, he must used Vista.
Yesterday, another friend came to me, and asked me if I can "clean" his Vaio Latop with vista and install the XP. I said yes, but when prepared myself to do that, I realized that the laptop have a SATA disc...
After some Googling I realized that such task is possible with some tricks. Basicly you must convert the XP copy in a new XP copy with SATA drivers. Well, I think XP SP3 copies should bring such drivers, but if you have an earlier copy you must proceed like I did.
If you need help doing that, just leave a comment.
